Shipping Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

We aim to process and deliver orders quickly and carefully. This Shipping Policy forms part of the terms governing delivery together with our Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy and our Terms and Conditions.

1. Order processing

Orders are generally processed within 1-2 business days after payment is accepted. Orders may enter processing or fulfilment shortly after being placed.

A request to change or cancel an order is therefore not guaranteed and is only effective once Wandersnout has confirmed it in writing. Our Returns, Cancellations & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer law govern cancellation rights.

2. Fulfilment locations

Depending on the product, inventory and destination, an order may ship from different fulfilment locations and may arrive in more than one parcel. This does not change any mandatory consumer rights you may have.

3. Estimated delivery times

Delivery times are estimates and vary by product, destination and carrier. For the Netherlands and Belgium, delivery may take approximately 7-15 business days during busy periods. If a more specific estimate is shown on the product page, at checkout, in your order confirmation or in your shipping confirmation, that is the most current estimate for that order.

Delays can occur because of peak demand, customs, weather, local carriers, address issues or other circumstances outside our reasonable control. Any mandatory statutory shipment or delivery deadline remains applicable.

4. United States shipping delays

For United States orders, we comply with applicable rules governing online order shipment. If we cannot ship within a shipment timeframe we have promised, we will, where required, seek consent to the delay or provide the option to cancel and receive a refund.

Our United States final-sale rule for change-of-mind returns does not limit rights that mandatorily arise from a legally relevant shipping delay.

5. Shipping charges

We currently offer free standard shipping to the Netherlands, Belgium and the United States unless checkout expressly displays otherwise for a specific order. For other destinations, any shipping charge is displayed before you complete checkout.

6. Tracking

Once tracking becomes available, you will generally receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking number or link. Tracking may take some time to display its first carrier scan.

A status such as 'label created' or 'information received' does not necessarily mean the carrier has physically scanned the parcel yet.

7. Correct shipping address

You are responsible for checking the recipient name, house number, street, postal code, city, country and other delivery details before placing the order. If you notice an error, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can still be changed once processing has started.

If extra costs or loss result from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer, reasonable and demonstrable additional costs may be charged to the customer to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Refused or unclaimed parcels

Refusing delivery or failing to collect a parcel does not automatically constitute an accepted cancellation or return. If a shipment is returned for this reason, actual return and reshipping costs may be charged or deducted where permitted by law. For United States final-sale orders, refusal or non-collection does not automatically create a right to a refund.

EU/EEA and UK consumers retain their statutory withdrawal rights. If you wish to exercise such a right, we recommend notifying us expressly instead of relying only on refusing delivery.

9. Marked delivered but not received

If tracking shows delivered but you cannot find the parcel, first check the immediate area, any safe place, neighbours or reception, and contact both the carrier and us as soon as possible. We may request additional information to open an investigation.

A 'delivered' tracking scan does not automatically defeat a valid claim. We assess the available evidence and applicable law.

10. Lost or significantly delayed shipments

If your order has clearly exceeded its expected delivery timeframe, contact info@wandersnout.com. We can investigate and, depending on the outcome and applicable law, take an appropriate next step such as reshipment or refund.

11. Transit damage

If a parcel or item arrives visibly damaged, keep the packaging where possible and take clear photos of the outer package, shipping label, internal packaging and item. Contact info@wandersnout.com as soon as reasonably possible.

This practical reporting request does not reduce statutory rights that may apply for a longer period.

12. Customs, taxes and import charges

Any taxes, import charges or customs fees are handled as shown at checkout and as required by law for the relevant destination. If local authorities request additional information or payment not collected by us at checkout, treatment depends on applicable local rules.

13. Risk in transit

The point at which risk of loss or damage passes is determined by applicable law. Where consumer law provides that risk remains with the seller until the consumer or an appointed third party physically receives the goods, that rule remains fully applicable.
